About Us

Founded by longtime Fort Worth builder James Austin “Bubba” Vann, Gallery Fine Homes has grown from a single toolbox and pickup truck into one of Texas’s most trusted names in luxury homebuilding, developing for the largest company in the world. For more than two decades, Bubba and his team of seasoned executives have shaped neighborhoods, poured into communities and created homes that stand as testaments to craftsmanship, integrity, and vision.

What sets Gallery apart isn’t just the quality of the homes; it’s the principles behind them. Every project is guided by values of service, transparency, respect, honesty, and kindness. These aren’t just words on a website or ad; they’re practices that show up in daily conversations, on job sites, and in lasting relationships with clients and trade partners.

With hundreds of homes built across Texas, Gallery Fine Homes has moved into Fort Worth, where Bubba grew up and attended college, where he plans to hang his hat. They blend deep industry experience with a personal, people-first approach. For Bubba and his team, homebuilding is more than construction: it’s a calling to build with purpose and to serve with integrity.

Bubba Vann

Founder + President

James Austin “Bubba” Vann had already built a successful empire and developed neighborhoods for the largest company in the world before expanding Gallery Fine Homes into his hometown of Fort Worth, the place where he grew up and attended college at TCU. His success was not handed to him; more than 22 years ago, he started out with a toolbox, a pickup truck and a small loan from his father. Then, someone took a chance on him to build a multi-family unit in South Texas. The rest is history. He’s expanding his vision to be a servant-leader in building safe, secure, and beautiful spaces that improve people’s lives. He invites you to see not just what he builds, but the communities he helps grow and to be part of that story.

Kevin Pedigo

Director of Construction

After a stint as a professional golfer, Kevin Pedigo entered Fort Worth’s homebuilding world in 1993. His brother-in-law, nationally recognized historic home restorer and award-winning master builder Ben Hull, pulled him into projects across Texas, where Kevin learned craftsmanship from the ground up. Since then, he’s built nearly 150 homes across Fort Worth, Aledo, Dallas and Mira Vista, most of them selling for more than $1 million. As co-owner of Gallery Concrete Company and director of construction for Gallery Fine Homes, Kevin is known for running a tight schedule and choosing the best people for the job. But what matters most to him isn’t the numbers, it’s the friendships he’s made along the way.

Andrew Presley

Project Manager

As project manager at Gallery Fine Homes, Andrew Presley brings both heart and discipline to the building process. A former full-time golfer, Andrew stepped into construction after his own healing journey led him to cross paths with founder Bubba Vann. Their partnership is rooted in honesty, accountability, and faith, which are values that define the company’s culture. On paper, Andrew manages projects, but in practice he wears many hats, helping guide developments across Fort Worth. Inspired by Bubba’s example of mentorship and care, Andrew sees building homes as building people’s lives, creating spaces for families while extending opportunities to others in recovery.

Christian Skonberg

Chief Financial Officer

Chief Financial Officers may not always seem exciting on paper, but for Christian Skonberg, his role isn’t just spreadsheets; it is transparency, stewardship, creative solutions, impact and strategy. A CFO is often the person who ensures the company’s vision is possible, and Christian does this by keeping the company funded, backed and able to take risks responsibly. “I zoom out and draw a big picture to make sense of everything that is happening in the company, almost like a financial narrative,” Christian says. What he loves most about the position he’s in is the challenge, and making decisions that have a big impact, which is why he leads the business office with honesty, integrity and openness. He also loves the people he works with.

Billy Brentlinger

Chief Executive Officer

Billy Brentlinger grew up on a farm near Mansfield, Texas while also attending Fort Worth Country Day. He co-owned a wholesale nursery with his brother, and later, a nursery software business, and a nursery-specific retail merchandising business starting right after he graduated from TCU in 1988. The business eventually grew into the largest Texas-owned nursery in the state. Both the homebuilding and nursery industries manufacture something that takes months of planning, problem-solving and growing. As the CEO, he focuses on strategic planning, business development, long-term financial strategies, working with his ecosystem of winners on developing people in the positions they are in.

Jason Starkey

Chief Operations Officer

Leading and empowering teams and complex projects as a football coach and former NFL player made COO Jason Starkey uniquely qualified to bring Gallery Fine Homes to where it is today. Jason speaks all over the country with an agenda to get young athletes to stop measuring their worth through external achievements. His message is that their worth is intrinsic. He learned this the hard way as a professional football player who lost everything after leaving the NFL. He now applies his passion for building people up into building homes and communities while leading the Gallery Fine Homes’ team in operations.

“At the end of the day, the work we do in the world gets to be a vehicle of kindness and generosity.”
